A few important changes were made to the way the patcher updates itself in order to avoid the fake antivirus warnings. Unfortunately we cannot automatically apply this update and everybody will have to grab a copy of the new Dawntide executable and place it in your Dawntide folder, overwriting your old exe.

Well, that somehow failed as now Avira Antivir Premium is complaining about the website with the download. Had to disable it in order to download the new executable.

Probably because it’s a plain exe download, which annoys lots of AV software. I’ll zip it up and fix the links.

Well how do you explain why Windows firewall wants to block it when i click on it? Never had that problem, in fact i dont even think my firewall is turned on.

symantec antivirus wont even allow me to download this exe file (I cant shut it off either cause its on my work laptop)

Hello, Downloaded it and then when I click to start, I get a note saying DirectX/OpenAL/PhysX drivers are not marked as updated.
Then the Patcher tries to update them, but since all MY files are newer than what it’s trying to patch in they all fail and then the program crashes.
