smashervt Player	Hello! I just downloaded the game and made an account and it says server is closed for internal teseting. :( so its closed beta? I thought i was open… I was looking forward to this game been looking for a classic game like this for years!

GMPathy GameMaster	Smash the servers have been taken offline for an extended period to impliment the new graphics renderer and to do a world rebuild, as published on the front page news. Hopefully things will be up and running again before too long, but all information from the dev team is communcated via news posts. Welcome to Dawntide, none the less.

Nostur Player	Being you I would not hope for it. The developers present this game as in open beta, however its currently closed to public with no news, apart from “development should resume in few weeks” notice. Stay tuned, but don´t litter your HDD. Just wait if they ever make it open again

Karetyr Player	I played ages ago in closed beta. Apparently that account was wiped, or something, so I created this new one. For all its bugs, the game seemed pretty solid, and definitely worth investing in. Keep a weather eye on the horizon for this one.

velastros Player	great…. fond this game off a random ” games like UO ” Google search, all to spend the last 4 hrs downloading it to THEN see the ” we’re closed” bit… why the heck do they still have links straight to the download page without a single notice of the down part unless you actually go to the news page and read threw? >..<

GMPathy GameMaster	The current game client will be the same client after the relaunch, there will just be some additional data patched to your client. By leaving the links in place it allows people to install the large portion of the client now, and then when the beta resumes they will only need to update the client like everybody else. This is a no win situation really, as removing the links results in negative feedback and leaving the client available seems to also do the same. This is not a huge software house with hundreds of staff, and the information was provided in the latest news. All I can do is reassure you that the 4hr download has not been a compelte waste of time if you intend to check out Dawntide when the beta resumes.

halakai Player	hey i jus made this account. i’m really exited for this game! it looks promising, as an experienced minecraft player i know what an sandbox game needs. and i want to give this game a try! but the download client dousn’t seem to work. will this be fixed soon? see you sooner or later in game :)
