After god knows how long, I awaken from my deep sleep. As I finally manage to pry my eyes open and deal with the light around me, I noticed my surroundings to be far different from what I remember. I decide that isn’t the problem right now, I have to find a village leader who will tell me where I am, and guide me further. I manage to ignore these idiotic villagers and step further out of the longhouse, on to the dirt path. With nothing left to gain from these villagers, i begin to search the town for some sort of sign. So…after all these years. I banished the demon illidan back into the hell from whence he came in the outlands… |

Despite all that. The game seems promising. All of the skills seem like an amazing improvement over any free form game i’ve ever played, But I do hope for some more improvements. Better UI. Faster targeting. Faster right click camera, that locks you from turning and forced all turn buttons to strafe. No godly door opening powers. A tutorial por favor. Active npcs who seem real and attempt to talk to you. I am aware this is beta of course. So we’ll see how the time passes. :) |

I honestly laughed the whole way through your post, and I appreciate it. I think lots of people find Dawntide without knowing what to expect and get a little disheartened when they realise pretty much everything is undocumented for new players. I have begun work on a video tutorial but with the mass influx of new players, new issues with each patch and a list of things to test that grows daily… fininshing the video is always getting put off. I assume the Dev’s have a similar issues finding time to get through the ever growing “to do” list. Every feature adds more bugs, and every new player adds to the demands list. I realise thats not what new players want to here, but its the current state of things. |

GMPather- I completely understand, I know this game is in beta, and sort of an early beta I might add. Alot of players come into a beta expecting everything to be pretty much ready to ship out and sell, when that’s not really how it is. There are still so many bugs and issues to be taken care of, many errors will happen, etc. However, I’ve noticed the potential of this game. There are so many things this game is capable of so I certainly hope this game can reach that level. When darkfall first game out i was in love with it, since it had so much more than the average “1-80 levels. git ur spells when youz hit 10. lern ur talentz. gitchu sum gear and go hit dem arenas! yEaH!”. Sadly adventurine takes YEARS to do the smallest patch, so i’ve lost some hope. LordWiese- Haha I tried asking around. But I can’t really tell players from npcs. Curious if there is a way to put names over everyones heads. |

Biggest little issues that I’d like to see fixed.. so I started playing Dawntide again with a few friends. Within an hour, all were very frustrated with the targeting system. Targeting corpses, targeting yourself.. basically targeting everything else other than what you are trying to target. This ended up causing one to quit out. Needs to be a smarter system. No targeting corpses via tab. Next target etc. |

if your running window mode, changing the resolution can help with targeting, just have to play with it untill you find the right resolution. |
