GMPathy GameMaster	While I cant talk about the specifics of how the project ownership works I can say that the initial investment is not small change. The investors own the project when it comes down to it and without more money from them, the project is static. Finding a new investor in current climate is not the easiest thing to do when most of the major software houses have existing games and projects to maintain they are unlikely to want to risk investment in a part complete product. The open source suggestion is nice in principle but the code belongs to the investors, and has value to them. There are also legal issues that would make crowd funding a little tricky to say the least, as you would be funding a buyout, not funding future development. There is one thing that is on our side as potential customers, and that is the terrible state of banking returns for savers. Low global interest rates and flat economies mean cash rich people are finding it difficult to get a return on their savings. Yes a project like this is far more high risk than buy shares but the rewards are also potentially quite good over a short time span if it succeeds. It is encouraging to see so many faces still watching the site for updates and information, and that in itself is a nice thing for potential investors to see. There are still plenty of people interested in this type of game.

Chadwiick Player	I decided to log in after about a year of occasionally looking at the website to check up on the status of the game, influenced by Pathy and I apologize if I’m off topic but I would like to speak for the others who are just like me that do not say anything. Also, in agreement with Pathy there are many who want to see this game. I’ve been craving to play a game and build/resource collect when I choose and go kill things when I choose, this blended really well in my opinion. I do get worried if coming on the site one day and seeing wiz update that the game is on board once more is only a dream. I hope this game gets more time and essentially a second chance if you wish to say it that way.

headstro Player	just a thought, why doesnt dawntide do like all the other new mmorpg’s worm in particular.. open a store and allow people to purchase premium for a skill gain boost or in game currency. I know it kinda gives an unfair advantage but it would solve the funding issue. look at wurm thats how they do it and its their only and main income.
