Reading all of the wonderful stories here in the tavern has inspired me. Sit and listen of the story of a cervanti, a warrior caught between a woman and his target, a dragon.

A bright light shined upon his face from the window of his small wooden hut. Dawn had snuck up upon him.
Lifting himself from his bed, sharp pains shot though his body, sending him to one knee.
A young woman with gold gleaming hair rushed to his aid. “be careful my love, your wounds have not healed.”
With her hands wrapped around his arm he struggles to his feet. “Rose, I am fine. Don’t worry about me. I have much to finish before I meet my maker.”
Crossing her arms, she glared. “Fine Kain.” She turned around and headed outside. “You’re just going to get killed.”
Before she could leave, he muttered, “And I’ll haunt you from the grave.”
“Don’t bite off more than you can chew, your not getting any younger. Maybe you should think of what your going to leave behind before you leave me and go 6 feet under.”
Kain looked down at his hands. “I already do.”
At the doorway, she turned. “Really? Then why this conquest for Grog?”
He had already begun to remove his armor from its stand and began dressing. “I must do what I must.”
“Then leave, and don’t bother coming back. I shall raise our son myself.”
Before he could respond she was gone.

The wind streamed through his helmet as his stead carried him to town. It was a beautiful day with light blue clouds drifting south in the sky.
At his destination, he gave a sharp pull on the reins and the horse halted. Shifting himself, he dismounted.
“Fearless Kain, come to see my progress. Come in, come in.” A short, rounded fellow shouted from inside.
Bowing his head at the door frame, Kain entered. “I’ve come to see if you have repaired my sword. If anyone could fix it, it would be you Cid.”
Cid let out a deep, profound laugh. “True! Now lets see here… where did I put that blade.” CId began entering one of the 5 small rooms connected to the large room where the furnace and anvil were. “Ah ha… here we are. Better than new if you ask me.” The man’s burly arms raised a long, fierce looking blade. “Here ya are.”
“Thank you.” Kain took the sword by the tip and hilt. ” Looks different.” He stated plainly.
“Of course it does. You gave me a hilt with a sliver of metal attached and I give you a mighty weapon. Maybe if you didn’t want it to change, you shouldn’t have broke it.”
Kain squinted from the memory of the mighty dragon snapping his sword to pieces. He looks down at the man’s glaring eyes. “Lets hope you dont have to repair it again.”
“Hmph… Will see, happy hunting. Now get out of my store!”

…To be continued. When I feel less tired :)
