ronin Developer	“Failed to connect to server” Server is down. Other known issues Some firewalls prevent client updates. (not common issue) Other related issues are currently being discussed here. “Unrecognised Name or Password” Server is up but your login information is not recognized. Game Account Creation These steps can be matched to the images found at the bottom of this post. Go to Account. Go to Manage Logins. Go to Game Account management. Select New Game Account from the drop-down (first option) and click Make Change. Provide new Game Login and Password details the click Create Login. Other known issues Incorrect username or password provided (user error) Typing with numpad creates unrecognized characters. Special characters used in login or password. Lunchbox76 Player	I am getting the Username/Password unrecognized error now. Update: I created a second account to see if it was just me typing in my info wrong and still get the same issue with the new account. I was able to log in with the first one yesterday but have not been able to get in since then.

Lunchbox76 Player	I tried both my game accounts and I am still getting the Username Password unrecognized error when trying to log into the game. I guess Ill check back in a few weeks and see if this is ever resolved.

Rari Developer	‘Unrecognized username / password’ sufferers Ronin is working to make sure the game login rules within client and the game login creation on the website match up. The change will likely be in tomorrow. In the meantime, if your account names or passwords contain and non a-z/A-Z/0-9 characters, this is likely the problem. If your password contains any special characters, do a password reset and set it to something that does not. If your login contains special characters (including spaces), please rename it. Both of these can be accessed using the same method as game account creation, just select the option you want (Reset Password/Rename Account) from the dropdown. If you cannot login after doing this, please send a PM to ronin.

SoftKitnz Player	I’m getting the failed to connect to server message too. What do you do when that happens. I want to update the game so I can play it but I can’t even get to the game weather updated or not.
