Sadly I do not think this game will be continued.Usually no news is good news but in this case no news is end game.Thank goodness I am enjoying Wurm.

the words “internal issues” dont sit well, i hope they do carry on the game the esitamated time was jan/feb which i doubt they will stick with. if they need more developers i think they should let people know im sure there are plent of people around looking to fill up their portfolio.

Aye, “Internal Issues” is scary…
The MMORPG genre BADLY needs a GOOD sandbox game (beside Eve, which is “special” and not your usual MMORPG). The genre needs a real UO successor. I really hope this one doesn’t get canceled.

Not to draw too much attention from Dawntide. But its said that Richard Garriot aka Lord British is making a new mmorpg… based on alot of the world of Ultima. I too hope that this project doesn’t get cancelled. But unless it fails to deliver it’ll probably lose a lot of those “UOplayers looking for a new UO game” to Garriots new rpg. (depending on how it’ll look of course.)

The Garriot game is a spiritual successor to UO and unfortunately due to copyright law can’t be connected to UO I believe. It was also hinted that it will be a mobile game which might make it a second or tertiary competitor for Dawn Tide.
