Patch 2.31
-
There are now 14 types of buildings players can construct. All buildings except for residences and control buildings require a control building to have been constructed nearby.
- Four types of residences, ranging from the tiny wooden hut to the luxurious townhouse
- Two types of control buildings, the small tower and small keep that allow factions to claim territory
- A defense building, the watch tower, that will protect your territory from enemies
- A storage building, the warehouse, that allows for a huge amount of item storage
- Three resource buildings that harvest or generate resources over time and place them in your warehouse
- Three decorative banners to spice up your town
- Buildings will no longer build instantly when you have provided the resources but rather will assemble themselves over time if the amount of resources added to the building exceeds percentage of construction complete. A building that does not have enough resources to build will slowly lose construction progress and may collapse if new resources are not added.
- Items placed in player built buildings will no longer decay
- You can no longer build buildings inside the no-PVP zone
- Upon building a building, you will now receive a key for it that must be used to open the building’s doors. This key will stay with you on death.
- All buildings require deeds that are made with masonry to be placed down, the new deeds have been added to the mason merchant in Burgvik.
- Collisions have been majorly improved and will now work correctly with trees and many other things
- Trees can once again be harvested for timber
- Added a recipe for making nails with blacksmithing
- Unlocked pottery as a starting skill and added a number of pottery recipes
- Added a pottery merchant at the Burgvik market
- Added clay deposits on South Vynn
- Fixed a bug that was causing duration spells to not work properly
- Fixed a bug that was causing spells to cast instantly
- Fixed a bug that was making many basic recipes far too difficult to succeed at
- Fixed a bug that made autowalking impossible to turn off in third person mode
